Recommended Use

Pro-Biotik IBS Support A source of probiotics that help manage and reduce Irritable Bowel Syndrome symptoms such as pain intensity, bloating, and the sense of incomplete evacuation for both children and adults. These probiotics help improve bowel habits, reduce symptoms of distension, straining at stool, the urgency of bowel movement, and the passage of gas and mucus for children, and help improve stool consistency for adults with IBS. Probiotics that help to relieve symptoms associated with gastro-intestinal disturbance such as abdominal pain, support intestinal health, and promote favourable gut flora.

Directions

Adults – Take one (1) capsule, one (1) to two (2) times per day at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Ages 4 and older: Take one (1) capsule per day at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. For children under the age of 6 years: Open capsule and mix contents into food or drink prior to consumption. To prevent choking, do not allow children less than 6 years old to swallow the capsule whole.

Cautions & Warnings

As with any natural health product, you should consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use, especially if you have a fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhoea or severe abdominal pain. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms of digestive upset (e.g. diarrhoea) occur, worsen and/or persists beyond 3 days. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.

Contraindications

Do not use this product if you have an immune-compromised condition (e.g. AIDS, lymphoma, patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment).
